# **National ST Commission Member Jatoth Hussain Receives Warm Welcome at NTPC Jyothi Bhavan**
### **Petitions on Tribal and Community Issues Submitted During Telangana Visit**
**Ramagundam, September 16 Telangana state Bureau Chief Nallapu Thirupathi:**
National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) Member **Jatoth Hussain** received a warm welcome from BJP leaders during his official visit to Telangana and his visit to **NTPC Jyothi Bhavan**.
BJP OBC Morcha State Vice-President **Kandula Sandhyarani** welcomed Jatoth Hussain on the occasion. The visit provided an opportunity for representatives of various sections of society to place their concerns and grievances before the National ST Commission.
Several petitions relating to issues concerning tribal communities and other local concerns were submitted to the NCST member. Hussain received the representations and assured the petitioners that the matters would be examined in accordance with the relevant provisions and that necessary action would be pursued with the concerned authorities.
The NCST member also interacted with representatives of different sections and sought details regarding the issues brought to his notice. He stated that the Commission would examine the representations and take appropriate steps on matters falling within its jurisdiction.
Officials from **NTPC and Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL)**, along with representatives of the **Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS)**, BJP senior leaders and local party functionaries, were present during the programme.
BMS leaders **Sagar Raju, Bhaskar Reddy, Satyanarayana Reddy and Narsimhareddy**, BJP senior leader **Muskula Bhaskar Reddy**, Palakurthi Mandal BJP President **Merugu Naresh Goud**, and leaders **Koduri Ramesh, Jakkula Padma, Praveen, A. Rajayya and Anil Naik**, among others, participated in the programme and extended their greetings to the NCST member.
The visit assumed significance as various representatives used the occasion to directly place their concerns before a member of the national statutory body responsible for safeguarding the interests and rights of Scheduled Tribes.
